My cats love it!

I have several older cats that need to be on a renal diet and they love Renal Support F.

My picky cat loves this food!

My picky kitty had to have her food switched to a diet that would be appropriate for her kidney disease and this one is the winner! I can tell that the Royal Canin Renal diets have more flavorful kibbles compared to other brands that I tried. My cat refused to eat the other non-Royal Canin Renal foods and I was getting scared that I wouldn’t find anything that she enjoyed eating and that was appropriate for her health. I am so happy that I tried this food and that my little Meow just gobbles it up each time her bowl is filled.

Only Renal diet my cat likes

My 8 year old cat has chronic kidney disease. She used to be on a different prescription diet and barely ate. When they switched the formula she had an allergic reaction. RC Renal diets are the only other diet she liked. As a dry food junkie and picky eater we have found the one food that helps her appetite and her coat even looks better. We won't be switching again.

My cats love it!

I switched my cats to this food when my older guy was diagnosed with early kidney disease. He’s a very picky eater and, after rejecting several other brands of food, enthusiastically eats this. He’s been on it for six months and is doing great.

Our special needs cat with multiple health problems loves this food. He has been on this food for over 2 years has maintained a healthy weight. When we first got him, he was underweight, had an unhealthy hair coat, and had early stages of renal disease. After trying multiple other brands of food, this is the one that he has done best on.

Great!!

My youngest cat, Iris, recently developed a serious kidney problem. Along with her daily meds, her doctor recommended the Royal Canin Renal Support line of foods. Iris has really been enjoying this dry food! Not only is it helping her on the inside, her coat is so shiny & healthy too. Great product!

Prognosis was maybe weeks. 3 years later....

In November 2014 I noticed my cat had lost weight, and was looking rather thin (for her). She was acting normally, using the litterbox, eating, drinking, playing... just was looking a little thin. I was shocked and devastated to get her blood values back indicating SEVERE renal failure requiring immediate IV fluids and boarding over the weekend. All the vets were sure this was just biding time and giving me a chance to say goodbye. Her numbers improved a bit, but not back to normal, and I was sent home with Royal Canin Renal F and orders to do SubQ fluids every day (250mL). Every 2 weeks was a checkup. And the numbers got better and better. Soon it was 200mL a day. Then 200mL every other day. Then 200mL every three. And finally 200mL every 4 days. It's been over three years. She's put back some of the weight she lost, and does not look like she's in any kind of ill health at all. My vet repeatedly says that, if it weren't for the fact that he's been treating her for the last 3 years, and that I knew 100% when I got her (and thus at least a minimum age), he would guess she was 8 or 9 years old, instead of the 14 she's turning in January 2018. Everyone who meets her comments on how amazing and plush her coat feels, and how bright and active she is. I know eventually time will run out. But thank you for giving me at least 3 more years with my kitty. She loves her renal diet, and lets me know the moment the bowl is empty!
