Your vet recommended Royal Canin Renal Support D for a reason. This highly palatable wet cat food is specially formulated to care for the kidney health of adult cats under veterinary supervision. “D” stands for Delectable, and this formula can help stimulate your cat’s appetite. The thin slices in gravy soft cat food can be mixed with other Royal Canin Renal Support formulas, which have a variety of palatable aromas and dry or wet forms to help find the right combination to get your cat eating again. And the energy-dense diet provides nutritional support in smaller portions, since cats with reduced kidney function have decreased appetites. Plus, it contains a precise antioxidant complex, fatty acids from fish oil, low phosphorus, and targeted protein levels to help support kidney function.

My Jasmine LOVES IT

My 19 year old Jasmine has been on this product for over 2.5 years. She LOVES it! When it is dinner time I can't move my hand out of the way fast enough. LOL She also eats the Renal Support A dry food. Thank you for making such a great products.

This product is excellent for cats w Renal disease

There are so many foods that my cat turned down due to her renal issues- This is the first time she loves her food And there are :3 options to help stimulate her appetite and keep weight on her.

My Emma Lee had kidney problems all of a sudden and had to go on a renal diet. This canned food if the only one I could get her to eat, and she loved it. She is very excited whenever I open a can and loves the gravy.

Fake - she only licked it

No wonder the ingredients are in mice type! By products, wheat flour! For something this pricey that's supposed to be healthy, I expected more than reconstituted "meat" morsels which aren't fooling anybody. She licked it and walked away. Better off with the other science diet or using a phosphorous binder on regular natural-ingredient cat foods. Waste of money.

What my cat needs

My 5 year old cat was diagnosed with kidney disease. He refused to eat the food the vet's office originally gave him. The vet suggested Royal Canin, and with more than 2 flavors and textures, Mozzie eats the food and gets the food he needs.

Great palatability!

I was given samples by our rep for my own cat she sure did love the tastes and options of the renal diet. Great selection for a sometime finicky kitty.

Cats like it! Can't think of a better review.

One by one they all seem to want it. It makes a nice grave with small chunks.m

My Cat Loves It!

I have been using Royal Canin Renal D for a few years now and my cat loves it. She is always excited for meal time and eats every last morsel. Also, every vet I've talked to says it's the best balanced diet for renal disease and I have to agree because my cat's kidney numbers have stayed constant.

Good Food for cats but shortage of quantity

Our cat Josie was put on a Renal diet about 4 months ago. We feed the Renal Support D version one can per day mixed half again with our previous RAW Chicken diet we have prepared for that last two years to feed our cats. Since we make the RAW in bulk we weigh out the amount of food for the cats (we also have Willie of the Willie Critter Tales series books). My issue is that 8 out of 10 cans of the Royal Canin are net weight of 2.8 to 2.9 oz and not the 3.0 as listed on the can. That is one can shortage of food every 30 cans. Not a great loss, but still it is a loss. I do not want to suggest you change the label but would like you to provide one can free of every 24 to 30 sold as this is the amount of loss to the consumer.
