For dogs over 8 years old, ROYAL CANIN® Maxi Ageing 8+ is a nutritionally complete and balanced formula specially designed to meet your large dog’s particular needs and support them throughout their later adult years. Larger dogs, with their extended digestive transit time, are more susceptible to digestive sensitivities compared to smaller breeds. This kibble contains highly digestible proteins and a balanced supply of fibres to help promote good digestive health. Weighing between 26 and 44kg, large dogs place the majority of their body weight on their joints. This formula is specially crafted with a combination of minerals and nutrients to help support healthy bones and joints in ageing dogs. Your ageing dog requires specific nutrients to help maintain their overall health. Crafted with a blend of essential vitamins and nutrients like EPA and DHA, this formula helps to support lifelong vitality. Our kibble’s unique size and shape means it is adapted to suit your ageing dog’s distinct jaw structure and helps encourage them to chew their food properly. ROYAL CANIN® Maxi Ageing 8+ is also available in a wet food texture: Chunks In Gravy. Senior dogs’ sensory capacity decreases as they age, so mixing wet and dry food helps to enhance the palatability of the meal.
