ROYAL CANIN® Urinary S/O cat food in loaf is specifically formulated with the needs of your adult cat in mind. This urinary wet food for cats is formulated for the nutritional management of cats with lower urinary tract disease and is suitable for cats with: - Struvite uroliths: dissolution and management of recurrence. - Calcium oxalate uroliths: management of recurrence. - Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC) Key Benefits: - Urine Dilution o This food helps to dilute your cat's urine, making it less likely for struvite and harmful calcium oxalate stones to form. - Struvite dissolution o The nutrients included in this exclusive formula help to dissolve all types of existing struvite stones. - Low RSS o ROYAL CANIN® Urinary S/O is developed with Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology. The tailored complex of nutrients in this food helps to lower the concentration of ions that play a part in the formation of urinary stones and crystals. - Low Magnesium o ROYAL CANIN® Urinary S/O is exclusively formulated with a reduced level of magnesium to further support your cat's overall urinary health. As part of the ROYAL CANIN® Veterinary Range, it is important that this product is only given to your pet when recommended by a veterinary professional. To cater to the individual preferences of each cat, ROYAL CANIN® Urinary S/O is also available as wet food with morsels in gravy, or as dry crunchy kibble. Please ensure you follow the correct rationing amount, especially when mixed feeding. Please note: ROYAL CANIN® Urinary S/O is not suitable for Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), heart disease (when sodium restriction is sought), concurrent use of urine-acidifying medication, growth, gestation, lactation.

Thanks to the high moisture content of wet food, Urinary S/O Feline supports urine dilution.
Struvite dissolution
Urinary S/O Feline helps dissolve struvite uroliths.
Low RSS
Undersaturated urine creates a urinary environment unfavourable to the development of struvite and calcium oxalate crystals.
Urine dilution
Diluting urine decreases the urinary concentration of struvites and calcium oxalates. The larger urinary volume also supports regular bladder wash-out.
