Whether this is your dog’s first urinary issue or they need ongoing urinary care, your vet recommended Royal Canin Urinary SO for a reason. This veterinary exclusive wet dog food was developed to nutritionally support your adult dog’s urinary tract and bladder health. This formula is designed with Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology to help lower ion concentration in urine, which contributes to stone formation. This formula promotes a urinary environment unfavorable to the formation of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. And this specialized nutrition, with a reduced level of magnesium, helps dissolve pure struvite stones and prevent them from forming. Lower urinary tract issues may be a recurring concern for some dogs. Talk to your veterinarian about keeping your dog on this urinary dog food for long-term urinary support. And ask them about Royal Canin Urinary SO dry dog food and treats to complement your dog’s diet or for mixed feeding.

What is the black stuff in the bottom of the can after I have already fed them the can? Gives the dogs bad breath and sticks to their teeth.

My picky dog loves this!

When my dog was diagnosed with calcium oxalate stones, and had to switch to a prescription food after surgery, I was so nervous I wouldn't be able to find something he'd eat. He's super picky. Thankfully, he LOVES this food. He can't wait to lick the gravy every time I put it in his bowl. Also, his urine labs have been perfect since starting.

Our Dog Loves this stuff!

Missy, a 16 year old Pomeranian jumps up and down like a puppy while we're spooning it out of the can! She gets dry food also.
